Gosh Velvet Touch Eyeliners!

Although personally I much prefer Prestige Total Intensity eyeliner, consider every aspect, I really recommend Gosh Velvet Touch eyeliners. This is because 

i) it is much cheaper; 

ii) there's a wider range of colours; 

iii) it is much easier to get hold of, as not all Boots sell Prestige stuff; 

iv) even your local Boots got a Prestige counter, they are not always in stock, especially when it is on 3for2 promotion. =.=///

.Prestige Total Intensity are more waterproof, but Gosh is not bad at all, managed to stay for around 6 hours if I use it as an inner eyeliner. Also, they are soft and easy to glide, the product can be deposit onto your skin easily without dragging them.

Furthermore, don't you think their packaging look bit like MAC? :-)

My Eyeliner Collection

As you can see, I have finally managed to find/ take some photos for the stuff that I need to find a new home at my blog sale. While I was searching around in my make up box, I just shockingly realised that how much eyeliner I have @.@ Well, if this does not amaze you, please tell me how many you have owned at one time/ seen.

There are 34 in total, I am totally amazed....=.=////

Anyway, out of these, I totally recommended 2 brand: Gosh & Prestige.

Gosh velvet touch eyeliner is one of my earliest eyeliner, but then, why I have continued to build this collection while I love it so much?? I have no idea... think more due to the shopping-holic inside me?! They are really soft, high pigmented, quite waterproof, but not that oil-proof as I have tired on my boyfriend's skin. A wide range of colour available and they are only £5 each @ Superdurgs.

I only discovered Prestige total intensity through a few asian bloggers and I was quite regreted that I only found them this year as they are absolutely brilliant. They are soft, easy to glide on and highly pigmented. The only downfall is that they only have 6 colours avaiable at Boots (and they are not fully in stock all the time), while they have 8 colours in the States.

No.7 Metallic Eye Pencil Review

I was talking to my bf last week when I used my last No.7 £5 off voucher, I realised I manage to save around £100, thanks, Mr Boots. So how? What I have done? 

Well, I managed to collect more around 15-17 £5 off voucher all these years and used them to get my entire collection of Ruby & Millie or No.7 brushes/ cosmetic and there's around 17 of them.

Therefore, that's why I have 3 eye pencil of the same kind. This metallic eye pencil is much better than the 2 ended eyeliner that No 7 produced, as the latter is a bit hard & does not last long. This metallic eye pencil is soft and the colour is wonderful as you can see the swatch below, I didn't need to make an effort to write on my hand.

There are 5 colours available in total, but since my bf said the blue looks bit too bright for eyeliner, so I got the green instead this time.

I haven't try the green on eye yet. But when you put the purple on inner eye lid, it looks quite blackish, so I tend to use this when I just tired of putting black eyeliner everyday. The gold is extremely visible and it is great for summer or even clubbing, I suppose.

(hope you are not scared by my eye... @.@ as i took this quite a while ago, and wasnt really good photographer)

Conclusion

For original price at £7.50, I don't think I will get this at all, as I will get eyeliner from Gosh or tried Prestige instead. But for discount price at £2.50, why not? But the only downfall is that there's only 5 colours and I already have 3. It is getting more difficult to spend the £5 voucher nowadays... So hope they will produce some limited edition colours. (or they already have & I didn't notice?)

Eye Lip Face = e.l.f. II

Since I am quite interest in the prducts of e.l.f., I bought stuff when there's a special offer in the UK site. So, this  is it. For an order more than £25, a free Mini Makeup Collection (worth £15) is free!!

I still haven't able to find a chance to try them on. But yet, I did a swatch for this, kekeke, as I cannot resist looking at it.

Packaing and top view

I am actually suprise by the case and packaing, as from what I heard, e.l.f stuff are really kiddy like/ top like, which means the packaging quality won't be as good as other brand outside.

The problem of  living in England is that we lack of sunshine while my skin still turn darker and darker during the winter.@.@ As there's no sunshine, most of my photos aren't as good as other bloggers,sigh..., but for this lot, I actually have some luck when I did the swatches and god... how easier to do things under the sunlight, and less flashing/over explose those annyoing stuff.

Lipsticks

I haven't take photos for the eyeliner, as I haven't really try it. I did draw a line on the back of my hand before, its not too soft but i think it should be useable.

Also, the eyeshadows are quite pigmented, it wasn't too hard for me to make a decent patch for the photographs and took me some time to wipe them off with my Botanic wipes.

This also applied to the lipsticks, my arm actually got red because I was rubbing it so hard with the cleaning.

Furthermore, the only cons is the brushes as e.l.f's main brushes are quite soft and nice, so I am having a similar expectation. Yet, I am kind of disappointed.

Conclusion

At last, I will actually buy this palette if I am a beginner or need a whole set of new makeup, as I definitly will bring this for holiday so that I dont need to draw up a list of what I need to bring. ;-P

Score: 70/100 (mainly for the original price and the amount of product you get)

Last week shopping @ TK Max

I like to 'hunt' in TK Max, as I can always find some bargin in there. (even though I dont buy them every single time, as I am not afford to do so @.@)

This time, I decided to buy this box set, as I am keen to try out the product from Rimmel, as I like the concealer and eyebrow liner that I bought recently.
