Shampoo 2 - Avon Advance Techniques Purifying Treatment Shampoo

I bought this around a year ago, and when I was writing this up, I am sad to find that it is not available any more in the Avon website. So now I have to start hunting the remaining stock!

This is one (out of two) of the deep cleansing shampoo that I used weekly.
Avon said, "Instantly removes the dulling build-up of products and restores natural shine. Use once a week."

I said, I love this shampoo! When I first used this, the smell was really nice and herbal, think it's mint, or something like that. It gave a tingling sensation to your scalp. It really removes the hair styling product and I felt my hair can able to 'breathe' once again.

I used it weekly and it is like going to a saloon to do a deep cleansing for your hair and seriously recommended anyone who use hair clay like I was everyday before.

It used to be available on Avon website for around £2 per bottle.

My Lip Care Collection

As i took out all my lip balm & salve, I finally realised how many lip care product I have... So this post is a post that I stop buying lip balm...i suppose... but then, I think I have jsut order a few recently which will hopefully arrive soon...@.@

L- R:
1. Avon Care Dry Skin SoS Lip Cream - which just arrived today
2. Molton Brown Vitamin Lipsaver - the most expensive in the bunch
3. Uriage Stick Protecteur
4. Johnson's Pearly Lip - the worst
5. Natural Collection Vanilla Lip Salve - the lemon one is better taste
6. Burt's Bees Replemishing Lip Balm
7. Za Vitamin Lip - the only SPF26 lip balm I have
8. Avon Care Lip Balm (Christmas Edition)
9. Balm Balm Tea Tree Lip Balm - I actually use it as face cream more than lip balm
10. The Body Shop Born Lippy - I have 2 of them, though I don't actually really like them.

Moistursing & Protecting:
1,2,3,8 are the best

Price:
2 is the most $$, £10.50 each for 7ml.
8. is the cheapest, only 50p when I got it.

Weight/ Volume:
1 &10 are the heaviest, 10ml each. Others are around 4.5g / 5ml each

Conclusion:
Consider all the factors, I will buy both of the Avon ones again. Although I like the Molton Brown one, its kind of too costly. The worst is the Johnson's one as when your lips are dry, you don't want your lips to coated with a pearly gloss as it exaggerated the dry lines.

Score from highest - lowest: 8>3>1>2>6>5>9>7>10>4

What do you think of them then?

Summary of the products that I like for 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I was planning to write my last piece of review right before the end of 2009, but then, i was distracted and was watching Black Bulter (黒執事), so didn't have time to type up @.@ I either stayed at home or went out shopping right after new year, so didn't have time to surf online too.

Here's the top 10 products, both skincare and makeup that I love most
(N.B. not in a particular order)

1. e.l.f. Studio Bronzer - Cool

I always looking for a palette that can do shape and sculpt together at the same time...But there aren't many option available from Boots/ Superdrugs. The most famous one is the M.A.C. Sculpt & Shape Duo like the one below

But then, I found it rather expensive... So I use this as an example and found an other alternative.

For £3.50, this e.l.f. bronzer is really good for this purpose... (which I will type a review if I had the time...sigh~)

2. Everyday Mineral Angled Brush

For USD$ 8, this is the best brush that I have and it is perfect for mineral makeup. Sadly, this is not available on everyminerals.com... if I know this earlier, I will at least buy 2-3 more...sigh~ so I have to take extra care to keep it well....

3. e.l.f. Shimmering Facial Whip - Spotlight

see more details on my recent post -> Click Here

4. Estee Lauder Double Wear Mascara

I prefer Lancome's  or Primark's mascara more before, and I didn't like Estee Lauder's mascara before as I have a bad experience... But then, after I used this. It is perfect, it lasted and extended my lashes well. Also, one more good point, it is easy to brush on without clotting my eye lashes.

5. e.l.f. Mini Makeup Collection

6. Avon Care Rich Moisture Glycerine Hand Cream

7. Homemade Lavender, Rose Face Cream

8. Olay Total Effects Radiance Enhance Cream Wash

This is my favourite cleanser at the moment, as it is cheap and effective. It removed excess oil and dust gently without giving the skin a hard time. It is good for everyday use.

9.  Garnier Eye Roll On

I have already bought a spare new one even though I haven't finish the old one yet... But there's 1 annoying point though... I just saw online Boots.com, there will be a new caffeine roll on which is used for dark circle.... i cant wait !!!!!!!!

10.  Botanics Organic Rosewater Toner

There's a few more things I want to put in this summary... But then... since I have already chosen a face cream, so I think I should put a toner here instead...

Care for Dry Skin in Winter II - produts available in stores (budget £20max)

Since I don't know what to put as the 1st photo, so I just search on google and find this. Hope there will be snow in london this year.

Since I have posted a article about the cream I am using at the moment for my problem, dry skin,  I will write the stuff that I have used before and found them efficient. Most of the stuff are found in Boots as I normally get my bottles and toiletries from there. Also, they are not expensive, around £20 max.

They are not in any particular order and I even use the Avon hand cream for my face when I am out and only got that in my bag. Also, I don't just put vaseline on my face as I don't belive it hydrates my skin, so I only use it as a protector - by putting a thin layer on top of any moisturing lotion that is not 'strong' enough to keep my skin moistursing.

Furthermore, Balm Balm face balm is the same as their lip balm, so can be use both face, lip and even hand and body. They have 3 choices: Rose, Tea tree and fragrance free. I like their Rose but I have the Tea Tree at home too.

So what'z next?

Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Luminous Face Treatment

This is my new found out from Avon, as my new birthday pancel arrived.

I love the smell and the texture of this product. I use this right after shower to enrich my face. Personally, I dont think it luminous face as much as i expected, but for £ 2.50 for 50ml, it is good enough to use it and not dump it.

Avon PLANET SPA Mediterranean Olive Oil Firming Neck & Chest Serum

I use this with my japanese sake face treatment together after shower. This suppose to reduce lines on neck and to firm the skin of the neck, which I specailly need. I havent use it long enough to find the changes, but I will have a close eye on that. XD

Avon Care Rich Moisture Glycerine Hand Cream

Maybe some people think I am an Avon fan, but actually I wasn't. I only pick up using stuff from Avon this year and I am suprise that some of its products are quite good in value.

This is one of my favourite handcream, as I used a lot of handcream everyday as water is hard here and dries up my skin easily. I even lazy enough to use it on my face when I have no lotion with me...@.@
